Went for a drive to Oxford today. Oxford is a town that I once thought of moving to many years ago, but the rush hour commute every weekday on the long, straight Tram Road drive didn’t appeal.
My work setup in recent years has become rather flexible, and possibly remain flexible for the foreseeable future, so I’ve been wondering about semi-rural living again. After all, it’s always been the semi-rural lifestyle that I find attractive in New Zealand, and one of the reasons I wanted to move here.
Internet connectivity is important to me, so naturally I’ve done a Speedtest… this is just one test, on a Sunday, and in my opinion, a decent result on a budget-oriented telco. This is testing against the 2degrees Christchurch location, which I’m expecting to be the nearest server to test against.
Anyway, we ended our walkabout of Oxford with a delicious glass of iced chocolate and a gluten-free carrot cake.
