Here’s a comparison of our bills since installing solar panels and a home battery in late May 2026, and how it stacks up with the year prior.
It’s not a direct comparison as the per-unit and daily charge changes over time, as well as us shifting our electricity usage after having solar panels and home battery installed to maximise our benefits etc., but hopefully it can provide a rough guide as to how the system has saved us some money.
All prices are in NZD and includes GST.
