The Wizard of New Zealand
It’s only taken me almost two decades… but we now have a photo taken with The Wizard of New Zealand 😹
There will eventually be a time when The Wizard will consider retiring from being the unofficial tourism ambassador to the city, and that will be a sad time indeed for Christchurch.
He is such a lovely person to listen to, it didn’t take long before he started to share the stories of his life, along with nuggets of advice on how to live a better life. I’m very glad for this photo opportunity and to speak with him, however briefly it was.

Ecotricity (NZ) Bill Confusion
Ecotricity NZ (not to be confused by the power company of the same name but operating in the U.K.) has a very confusing bill. The invoice breaks down the costs of supplying electricity into various components, leading to many new customers being confused about exactly what they are being charged for. How bad is it?
